BlueBelle's Search: Chapter 1: Quests 1-3

CastleVille Legends Valentine's Day quest is here!

*grabs a box of tissues* So...bittersweet!
Bluebelle has been searching for Bramble(*The Flower Fairy Prince*) since the fated day he was banished away by dark magick. She's looking for help from anyone. Even if it means bringing together two friendly rivals. Giovanni and Magnus both have recently crafted two extraordinary objects with their magick and ingenuity. Will these two be able to help Bluebelle find her lost love?

Time will tell!
Click, click for looove!
Things of Note:

  • You must be at least Level 17 or higher.
  • Giovanni and Magnus must both be unlocked.
  • Bluebelle’s Search event is broken up into for consecutive Chapters that unlock over time.
  • You don't need Bluebelle unlocked to complete this event.

One last thing - this is a step-by-step walk-through so it is picture-heavy. Ok, let's get going!

Quest 1 - Bluebelle’s Search I of VI
A look at what we have ahead of ourselves.
In the above picture is our overall objectives for this part of the quest. Each  subsection represents the main point of what we have to do.
Final Reward in sight.
In this picture it depicts the grand prize we will be striving to attain. There are mini-rewards that we can grab along the way like pearls, gold, hinges etc.
Good idea Belle..let's just start randomly searching! SMH
Bluebelle is a bit anxious to find Bramble. She is going to have us harves(4x)t a new field called the "Bluebelle Patch", collect Blueberry Flowers(7x) and send her off to adventure into the Dragon Ruin.
Bluebelle + 1 more hero
Right off the bat let's send Bluebelle to the Dragon Ruin. I chose Bluebelle to go along with Buttercup simply for the guaranteed emerald and cream. As long as you send off Bluebelle with another hero it'll count toward the objective.
Left side is normal blueberry patch. Rightside is the new one.
Courtesy of the Castleville Legends team they kindly provided us with a nice hint about the harvesting part of this quest. We are going to harvest the normal blueberry patches and not the new one we recently bought.

Helpful Tip: Even so, I  would harvest the new patch when you can. It drops only one Bluebelle petal and the timer is rather long on it. We'll also be needing 6 Bluebell petals and 6 Bluebell flowers to craft future gloves for the next quest. We'll also need more for future items. Stock up to be safe.
Oh yay, more low drop items to collect
Collecting Blueberry flowers from the normal field is currently a pain! Very similar to the original Crystallized Honey low drop rate from our previous event. Hopefully the rates will change but for now we must endure. Don't give up. Keep at it.

Helpful Tip: Remember even if you buy or do trade with your Alliance members to bypass the step you will still need the flowers to craft items later on.

Helpful Tip: Back in 2013 there was a blueberry patch given for an event  reward. During these kinds of events those special types of fields/crops are given even lower drop rates than the normal fields. This is why I always mention in my guides to not focus too much on the rewarded fields/crops.
Good idea, let's not be anxious and figure out a plan!
If you managed to collect the needed materials and completed the objectives you'll be rewarded with 1200 XP. Good job! Let's keep going the search must go on.

Quest 1 - Bluebelle’s Search II of VI
Why not ask both?
Our next set of tasks will be to craft our first set of items(3x) from the new Flower Workshop building. We'll need to purchase the Flower Workshop for that step. Fire up the Trail Kitchen we are going to cook 1 squash soup. Meanwhile we are going to send off Bluebelle and one other hero to the Well of Wishes to collect a vial of Fairy Serum.
Fkiwer Workshop - so pretty
This new event introduces a new workshop; the Flower workshop! It's decorated rather prettily with various flowers and roses.
Market > Workshops tab
You'll be able to purchase the workshop with 13000 gold There is a max limit of one. No superior version of this workshop is available either. Once bought and set upon your land it will take ~4 hours or 8 crowns to speed up the process.
New items to craft yay!
Once your shop is ready it's time to craft 3 Fairy gloves. Hopefully you kept harvesing those patches from the first quest. We need to make three gloves but will also need extra for a future quest.

Helpful Tip: I found that I did not have to re-open the previous quest to continue collecting the Blueberry Flowers.
Have you ever tried it? I don't have the courage lol
Unless you bought one off global or happened to have a helpful Alliance member send you one. It's off to the Trail Kitchen we go to make our Squash Soup.

You'll need:
3 Squash(From the Squash Patch)
1 Stick of Butter(Create with 3 milk from cows at the Dairy)
2 Milk (Harvest your Cows)
40 minutes of Crafted time for 1 Squash Soup
I had to Send Bluebelle off several times to get the first serium to drop
Now it's off to the Well of Wishes. Send Bluebelle with a hero of your choice. Our goal is to find 1 Fairy Serum but we will need more. Keep sending her off to the Well of Wishes to find the serum. The chance of finding one is about 50% so it's hit or miss. Chin up, you'll find the one you need and then keep on going for at least one more.
This is kinda sad...I feel for Bluebelle she seems so nice
Once completed we are awarded with 1500XP! We also discover that the telescope and crystal that Magnus and Giovanni built won't be much help in finding Bramble. At least for now...

Quest 1 - Bluebelle’s Search III of VI
Whoa, whoa. Why not just ask them, you manipulative...
The third part of Bluebelle's quest will have us wondering why we must help a very manipulative pest....I mean, visiting the Well of Wishes to collect Fairy Serum for our Vision potion as well as harvesting our sheep to find Bluebelle slippers. Finally we'll be sending any hero to the Ancient Watchtower just in case Bramble got lost in there and we didn't notice.
Our sheep hold many secrets in their wool fluff.
Collecting 3 Bluebelle slippers comes from harvesting our normal sheep pasture. There is a low chance of the slippers dropping from Pym's sheep reward but Zynga has stated the odds aren't in your favor with special reward fields/pastures/crops.

Helpful Tip: The drop chance for the slipper isn't impossible but also not favourable. You'll find yourself making a few tents for the future exploration quests ahead to Dragon's Clutch.
Vision Potion ingredients and craft time
Bluebelle plus any Hero - I chose Gio just for the heck of it
Hopefully you were able to keep harvest the new patch/blueberry patch, as well as find at least one more Fairy Serums as I advised in Bluebelle’s Search II of VI. If not, back to harvesting and another trip is in order to the Well of Wishes.

In order to create the Vision Potion you will need the Flower Workshop and:

  • 5 Blueberry Petals(Found by harvesting Bluebell Patch)
  • 4 Blueberry Flowers(Found by harvesting normal blueberry patch)
  • 2 Fairy Serums(Found by sending Bluebelle + 1 Hero to Well of Wishes, 50% chance drop rate)
  •  Total crafting time is 1hour and 30 minutes.

Pretty kitty, little ball of fur!
Last but not least any hero can be sent to the Ancient Watchtower to check off the final task of the objective list.
Anxious to find Bramble or not, she's just being wrong here.
Once everything is done we're rewarded with 1800XP from the calculating fairy that resides in our kingdom. But that's not the end of it.
Golden lock of uber yaay
For completing the first week questline we are awarded with a golden lock. You can never have
enough of those in this game.
Bonus quest unlocked
Also, as soon as the first questline is completed the bonus quest is unlocked. The first two parts are simple but the last part can only be completed if we finish the last quest. Which is to say that Zynga is making us work a bit for those 7 crowns. Challenge accepted. Good luck I hope this helps you on your journey just a bit. Until the next guide ---

Thank you for visiting,
