Hello Royals, welcome to Byron's Prison: Chapter Two - Quest 3 Guide. We are continuing from Byron's Prison: Chapter Two - Quest 2 Guide. If you are Level 19 or higher you will be able to start this quest. The timer is ticking to a final countdown so let's get going!

Overall Objectives:

Since when was Leif a muscle-bound oaf? 

In the last guide I mentioned to keep crafting 4 additional Lava Hammers from what was needed in the quest and this is why - we are now going to finish Bryon's Cell. Hopefully you held onto those for this part of the quest. We are also going to craft a Spell of Protection and for that we need to find an Old Spellbook at the Dragon's Ruin.

Dragon's Ruin:

Rafael & Magnus Duo is a must

Send off Rafael and Magnus as a duo to the Dragon's Ruin. You'll need an Opal Ring, 1 Plain Glove, and 3 Torches for exploration materials. Magnus and Rafael will give the best results for the Old Spellbook and the Charcoal chub. The Old Spellbook has about a 70% chance to drop on a trip.

How to Craft Spells of Protection:

Here's an overview of what you need to craft a single Spell of Protection. The Old spellbook is dropped from the Dragon Ruin(best explored with Magnus & Rafael) and you should have 1 Potent Potable from the previous quest.

Note: In the final quest you need to finish a Spellstation which requires 4 Spells of Protection. So craft ahead of time - 3 more Spells of Protection. Hold onto the spells so all the Spells of Protection will count for the final quest.

Harvesting Potent Potables:

Lumber Yard - Harvest it for Potent Potables

These will go into your inventory so keep some space open.

Potent Potables are found when harvesting the lumber yard. We need 3 more to complete a single Spell of Protection. The drop rate is not terrible at 85%. If you use a Quickspell to hasten the process it will not alter the drop rate and you'll have those items in no time.

Finishing up Bryon's Cell:

Time to finish up Bryon's Cell. From the previous quest you had to visit Mount Cinder for Brick and Mortar to craft the Building Materials needed at the Workshop. In order to do that you need Building Materials. 

Recap of how to craft the Building Materials

Just briefly, each Building Material takes 3 Axes from Rafael's house, 2 Lava Hammers which are crafted at the Gadget Shoppe, and 1 Brick and Mortar which is found at Mount Cinder. You'll need 8 Building Materials in total to finish his cell but we've already finished it half-way from the previous quest. So luckily, we only need 4 more Building Materials.

Quest Completed:

Leif, what are you, twelve? Shush up and listen to your elders!

Once you've completed the quest objectives you'll be rewarded with 4 Silver Hinges as well as a glimpse at a childish response from Leif to Magnus.

Important Note:
There remains only one quest left(Apologies but I'm not covering the Bonus quest due to time restraints) in this mini-event and the thing is that it requires the Phoenix Perch to be open. This is the Place of Legend that sits behind and to the right of Mount Cinder. If you do not have this open than you will need to acquire 2 Phoenix feathers from Facebook friends/Alliance or 2 crafted Phoenix Quill Pens. Hopefully these are available to you in some way or another otherwise the final quest won't be able to be completed.
