Enter the Sands of Time - Chapter One: Quest Two Guide

Sands of Time or Shifting Sands....Zynga make up your mind.

The Enter the Shifting Sands event is here! The entire quest-line is broken up into three consecutive chapters that unlock over time. If you are level 19 or higher, you will see the above pop-up. Click on the "To the rescue!" button to begin.

We are picking up from the Enter the Sands of Time - Chapter One: Quest One Guide. In the previous quest we rescue Meryl from her crystal encasement.

Quest Objectives:

Ugh, pumpkin hunting time.

Overall the quest objectives are nice and easy. We will be crafting tents, gathering pumpkins, and cooking up sweetberry bars. The only somewhat hard part will be harvesting the pumpkins from the squash patch.

Pumpkin Harvesting:

Squash patch

Let's tackle the pumpkins firsthand. Pumpkins are a random item that comes from harvesting the Squash field. The drop rate of the pumpkins is honestly not very good so you will be harvesting that field for a bit before gathering all four items.

Note 1: Pumpkins can be traded amongst friends/Alliance and will count toward your quest.

Note 2: If you have a scarecrow, lion statue, or temple from previous events then place the squash field by it. Activate the item if it's ready and then harvest the squash field. Hopefully you'll obtain a second pumpkin on that harvest attempt.

Sweetberry Bars:

Honey, Oats, and Blueberryies, oh my!

Pop on over to the Trailer Kitchen once you've gathered the following -
Total Ingredients Needed for 4 Sweetberry Bars:
12 Blueberries - gathered from the blueberry field.
12 Honey - harvest your honey field
8 Oats - gathered from Oat field

Approx: 8 minutes of crafting time

Note: The Sweetberry Bars will not count toward your quest if you do not craft them. Simply trading them back and forth will do no good. However, you can trade the individual items to help out your friends or Alliance.

Camping Tents:

Shear your sheep and grab some logs for a tent

Camping Tents are made at the Weaver.

Total Materials Needed for 4 Camping Tents:

36 Wool - harvested from sheep pasture
20 Logs - gathered from

Approx: 20 minutes of crafting time

Quest Complete:

Eating 4 whole pumpkins is a snack?!

Once all the quest objectives are completed you'll be awarded with level appropriate experience. Now it's time to start preparing for the next quest!

Chapter One: Quest Three will have us doing the following:

Craft 4 Purple Striped Blankets
Collect 10 Fiery Pollen
Craft 4 Fire Blossom Lanterns

Craft the plain blanket(s) ahead of time but do not make it(or them) into the purple striped blanket(s) until you get the quest. This way it will count.

If you craft a lantern(s) ahead of time then do not collect it until you get the new quest so it will  count toward your requirement.
