Hello everyone! We are continuing from The Great Egg Hunt: Chapter 2 - Quest 2 Guide. The hunt for Byron is still on-going but now we have a few other Heroes jumping in to help save the missing dragon egg. Marigold is also closing in on Byron's whereabouts as she hopes to regain her missing treasure hoard.

Quest Objectives:

This one requires a few hours of your time to accomplish

Overall we are in for quite a while. Not only do we have to gain a single Decrypted Communication we also have to find a new emerald as well as craft ourselves a Fiery Hot Jam. The Zynga team sure likes to keep us busy don't they?

Fiery Hot Jam

I would not try eating this at all. Seems far too spicy

First up, we'll start our Fiery Hot Jam cooking. This little number takes 4 hours to cook in the Bakery. You are going to need Fiery Pollen, Chili Peppers, and Honey. Because the Chili Pepper field yields only 2 chili you will have to harvest it twice. Thankfully the Chili Pepper field has a fast timer on it.

Hunt for a New Emerald

My little ponies - friendship is maaaagic

For the emerald we can either buy one from Global market or be traded one from an Alliance member. But if neither of those options are available than we need to hunt down our emerald. Look below at possible Heroes at different Places of Legends to find your emerald.

Duo 1: If you have Clover the unicorn(the one with green clover hair and a yellow coat) go ahead and send her to one of the below listed Places of Legends. However, don't take her out until you get the quest so if you gain an emerald it will count toward your requirement.

Clover drops Emerald at Well of Wishes, Dragon Ruin, Fairy Falls, Flower Tower and Pirate Wreck.

Duo 2: In the case you do not have Clover or haven't reached Fairy Falls just yet than a nice duo to use is Yvette and Rafael at the Dragon Ruin. If you happen to have Bluebelle than she pairs better with Yvette at the Dragon Ruin.

Decrypted Communication

Back to the Marketplace

In order to get a decrypted communication we first need a Code Breaker machine. This is found in the 'Featured' tab in the Makertplace for 200 gold. Buy one and place it on an empty spot of land.

Lo and behold, more searching

Here is where it starts to get unfriendly with time. We need 5 Cryptic Communications which drop from Byron's Tracks. The Cryptic Communications are not a 100% drop so you'll be visiting Byron's Tracks a few times. Thankfully the final piece that we need does have a 100% chance to drop.

Bluebelle is a great BFF

Next up is Bluebelle as she realizes that Yvette is feeling depressed as she blames herself for Byron stealing the dragon's egg. What's a BFF to do?
