Castleville Legends Updates: Scorch, Swiftwing, Cloudfeather

It's been a busy week hasn't it Royals? Some good times, some bad with a ton of bugs and to top it off a sprinkle of broken promises. Previously I had made an entry in regards to Scorch being awarded as a final Easter quest gift. He was going to be given as a final reward. However, someone on the Zynga team had decided that it would be best to make Scorch available for pearls. Yes, pearls instead of a reward gift.

My sincerest apologies to those that were hoping to get a red dragon right off the bat. Zynga certainly knows how to take away fun as well as give it. The only reasoning I can fathom for pulling this move is that the folks at Zynga believe that everyone should have access to Scorch. If he is available for pearls then new players can also acquire him. No special snowflake status for long-time players that worked hard on the entire questline for the full duration. :<

Swiftwing was a Valentine's Day reward

According to the Zynga support team these two heroes are the cause of the pink blotches that you may have been seeing ingame. What they are doing is removing both heroes from the games until a fix can be applied that will not cause the error. A small trickle of players are reporting that the pink blotches are now gone and that both their heroes have been returned to them. It remains to be seen if this new fix applies to everyones game. We'll have to wait and see. Hopefully the fix is universal across all platforms(both PC and mobile) and we'll have our pink pegasus' back and ready to explore.

Now if only we can get Zynga to change their mind on that whole 'sold out' ships deal...
