Sneak Peek: Starfall the Night Dragon and Halloween Tidbits

Greetings Kingdom lovers,

I have stumbled upon various bits of news as well as discovered upcoming items for the upcoming Halloween event. If you've downloaded the newest update there's a chance you might have seen a good portion of the upcoming Halloween tidbits coming our way!

We have a ton to go over so let's get right to a new hero -
Starfall the Night Dragon

A new hero possibly coming soon
So far from what we know is that Starfall is called a 'Night Dragon' and that he's available at level 26. For players already at that level that simply means he will be available at the store and we can purchase him with pearls(crowns possibly but not likely). From what we know in-game it's a possibility that Starfall is tied to the dream dragons that frequent our realm.

Squash and Pumpkins

The price to the left and the field itself on the right

With the newest update Zynga by accident put into place a few Halloween event items that weren't meant to be showcased just yet. One of the items was the new squash field. As you can see from the pic above it will cost 3000 gold coins and can be put anywhere in your kingdom. A second field will cost you 50 crowns.

Now, when you harvest this squash field a player has a chance to gain a 'pumpkin'. This is not a guaranteed drop rate so one time you pick the field it may drop but the second it may not. Then you simply wait and try again.

Squash and Pumpkin Recipes

Both the squash and pumpkin ingredients are used in the Trail Kitchen and Bakery.

Squash Soup
Pumpkin Bread
With these pictures you can have an idea of what you'll need to stock up on and the time duration to craft the various goods.

Note:  In the Tailor hut, there was actually one more recipe that I forgot to take a picture of the Studded Carving Gloves. These gloves take 1 plain gloves and 2 opal to craft. The time duration is 25 minutes. Stock up on opals if you have the inventory space.

Beehives and Candle Wax

Wax on, wax off... sorry couldn't help it.
Magnus' Mystery Crate quest gave players an extra beehive as a surprise reward. I mentioned that it would come in handy in my Magnus' Mystery Crate Walk-through guide and here's why --

The Candle wax ingredient. Not much is known about it except one thing: it's a low drop rate. I have four beehives in my kingdom and 5 candle wax is all I have been able to get over a duration of two days of off and on harvesting. Hopefully we won't need a great deal of it or the Zynga team fixes the drop rate so it's not as terrible as it is at the moment.

Hazel's Castle and Fredrick the Ghostly Traveler

Green fog everywhere
Zynga's obsession with dense mist of all kinds continues with the green fog. We were taught the lore behind it in the latest quest. Basically the Green Fog is dangerous and is capable of making peaceful animals chaotic and also can wither our crops. Magnus also put together a guadian made of pumpkin, straw, and old work clothing that can repel the fog.

Take a look at the middle section of Hazel's castle. She has a gun that seems to be pointed straight at our kingdom. The green fog is also coming from her direction as well. I have a feeling we'll be seeing Hazel the wicked witch very soon.

Fredrick the Ghostly Traveler - Again, I forgot to take a picture and I apologize for it. However, the purple pane in the Hall of Legends is tied to him. He's a hero that no longer walks the path of life. However, that doesn't necessarily mean he is bad. We'll get to meet him in a quest alike Magnus' Mystery Crate. I hear he brings crowns!

That's it for now Kings and Queens. Once Zynga rolls out the upcoming Halloween events we will be able to see exactly what is happening in our realm. Thanks for visiting!

As always, Happy Playing!
