About those Halloween event Items

It's still Halloween in Zynga's hearts:

Hi everyone,

I'm sure you are all wondering why the heck there are still Halloween event items in your kingdoms. And if not, well, ponder it for a moment at any rate!

According to Zynga Moderators at the support page the items are remaining for a very simple reason. It's simply because they are too lazy. . . okay, okay I am kidding. The Halloween event items were not taken from our games because another seasonal event has not come up to take their place.

There you have it. Once a new seasonal event comes to take the place of the Halloween event we can finally say goodbye to all that candle wax, enchanted shields, and pumpkins. Here's the thing to consider though - the squash field is not a temporary field. It's permanently inside our games. Which is to say, there very well can be more recipes for squash. I am seriously hoping for a Thanksgiving event.

A bit of advise:
Don't forget that if you have stardust to spare then crafting and selling the enchanted shields is a very profitable way to acquire gold coins. I advise to not just throw everything away and keep crafting up until the moment they are taken out of the game.

If you are maxed out on coins then buy yourself a couple of the knights holding a fish statues. Once the gold cap is lifted you can sell the statues for a decent amount. At the very least you wouldn't be losing out on all your gold.
