Byron Returns to CastleVille Legends
Did you know? Coming soon -- return visit from Byron the Human Prince from the Eastern Kingdoms. The Friendship Tournament marks the second return of this charming Prince.
Who is Bryon?
We first met him in the quest, "A Royal Visitor" back in the Whole New World Event. This was the event where Magnus regains a portion of his lost memories. We also discover that our kingdom is the legendary Central kingdom that was lost to the world with no thanks to the Dark Wizard's Gloom. Byron is a representative from the Human kingdoms to the East of our kingdom.
Perilous Journey
Bravely, the Human prince decided to voyage into the once gloom-filled Central kingdom once he saw the gloom had parted. Byron journeyed to our kingdom only to collapse at our feet due to exhausation. Apparently his travels were wrought with danger left and right. When he awoke he was amazed at seeing Magnus, Yvette, and Rafael(and of course, us). Our kingdom is the home to literal legends thought long lost!
The Eastern Kingdoms
Home to all Humans. The Eastern Kingdoms boasts people of many backgrounds and physical varieties. The physique of Humans is more muscular and sturdy than of Elves, but much more slender than that of Dwarves. The youngest of all races. Humans are filled with a desire for knowledge as well as power. They have a relatively short lifespan which pushes them to make the most of everything. This inner drive has guided Humanity forward to not only learn how to use magick(although not as adept as true magical races) but also combiine it with science and technology.
A Home for Byron
Upon learning that the gloom has released its clutches upon the Central kingdom. The Human prince decides to send word to the Eastern Kingdoms via carrier ravens. The legends live! Yvette proposed creating a home for Byron within our kingdom. The implication being that as a representative he was welcome to come and go as he pleased. Bryon is humbled by Yvette's kindness and accepts. He will return and soon!

Bryon's Return -
For the longest time our kingdoms have been lost to the other races. However, since the Gloom has been lifted from our lands. word has reached the others that we have survived the Dark Alchemist's onslaught. King Eliot, father to Prince Bryon sends forth a large retinue of knights to accompany various nobles to our home. Such a grand gesture required an acceptable response on our part. The Friendship Tournament was to commence.
Bryon proved to be a talented contestant through and through. He won countless events from jousting, archery, and even hand to hand combat. A formidable opponent he even rendered Rafael to yield at many contests of skill and prowess.
Talented, handsome, charming, and blessed with a royal title. Byron was a dangerous man in Rafael's eyes. The rugged ranger had a wiggling feeling in the pit of his stomach that the Prince was up to no good. Although it seemed that it was pure jealousy blinding Rafael's eyes it was not entirely false.
The Human Prince had us all fooled.
At first it seemed Bryon was genuinely interested in Dragons as they are legendary creatures of magick. The truth was that Bryon pretended to be a friendly emissary so that he could grab ahold of he rare eggs that were laid within Dragon's Clutch.
So who is Bryon?
Who is he indeed. What we thought we had known of him was only what he pretended to be. At the moment what we do now know is that he is duplicitious, and even treacherous. An individual capable of telling lies with ease to gain what he wants. An ambitious prince that seeks to gain something from using the Dragon eggs. Of course, he can be acting under his father's word or perhaps...just perhaps, the Dark Alchemist has spread his evil influence across the other kingdoms as ours had slept.
As the new quest - The Great Egg Hunt commences we will discover even more about the Human Prince. Will he redeem himself or was a cad from the start? Either way it'll be interesting to find out.
