Summer Solstice: Chapter One - Quest 1 Guide
Quest 1:1 Giovanni’s Rockhenge I of IV Guide
Giovanni and Magnus at the Rockhenge |
The Summer Solstice event is here! The Summer Solstice is broken up into three consecutive Chapters that unlock over time. The summer solstice is approaching and Magnus has decided we should build a Rockhenge to better commune with the sun. Giovanni is hands on helping out Magnus drawing plans already. Let’s all help together!
Sunspot is the final quest reward |
Summer Solstice is almost here |
First we will harvest the Copper Mine. Then we will send Magnus to the Ancient Watchtower. While he's exploring for a short whilewe will send two Heroes to the Gateway of Luck to find the Sun Maps. As time progresses(or if you use Quickspells) we will continue to harvest the Copper Mine.
The Copper Mine
The first purchase is about 250 gold. Any more and it starts to cost crowns. |
If you want to use Quick Spells to quickly bypass the timer for the quest requirement you will need a total of six Quick Spells. This is because the Copper Mine uses up 2 at a time. (*Shakes fist*)
Tip: If you have the Lion statue, Temple, or Scarecrow. then position them by your Copper Mine before you harvest it to get the most out of your mine.
The Cheap Mason, Temporary Hero
Before we send off our Heroes to the Gateway of Luck I'd like to mention something about the Cheap Mason, Temporary Hero.
He's a fun fellow. What a grin! |
Which ever you choose - do not send off your Heroes without him. This is because the drop rate of the event items revolves around having the Cheap Mason in your party. That's not to say that the event items won't drop without him but it'll certainly be a lot tougher.
Tip: Don't forget to read up on the Summer Solstice FAQs for more helpful hints about the event.
The Ancient Watchtower
1 rorch is all you need to explore this place |
The Gateway of Luck
2 ladders and 1 torch for each exploration mission |
Not the best yeld but the Sun Map is all that matters here |
Tip 2: Don't forget to rotate through your Heroes. If you keep sending Magnus in sequence, it actually lessens your odds. A good example would be: Magnus with Cheap Mason, then send Rafael with Cheap Mason, then Yvette with Cheap Mason. Then back to Magnus and so on. Feel free to substitute the Heroes of your choice.
Tip 3: The Sun Maps can be traded back and forth via Ship to Global Market or to your Alliance
Quest Complete:
Didn't you get a message from the Phoenix when we first found you Gio? |
Until the next guide --
Happy Playing!
