Summer Solstice FAQs for better gameplay

 Hello Royals,

before you being your progress through the Summer Solstice there are a few things to point out to help you on your way.

The Cheap Mason:

Cheap Mason comes with various colored garb

The Cheap Mason, is a Temporary Hero. Once the Summer Solstice event is over then this helper will leave your kingdom.  The various colors are to simply distinguish one Cheap Mason from the other. The real difference between them is only one thing -- the time duration. The Cheap Mason bought with crowns will not have better odds of finding event items than the one bought with pearls or gold.

Also, if you buy two( for example, one Cheap Mason with gold and one Cheap Mason with pearls) they will not stack together. Basically you will not receive twice the amount of odds to find special items. Their rate of finding event items remains the same whether you have two in one Place of Legend or if you have one with another Hero alike Yvette.

Workshop Boosts

Save your boosts. Unfortunately, these will not work  during this event. In Zynga's reasoning, the workshop boosts give you an additional item. If we use a boost we are still only making one item from the ingredients we have. Therefore it is only that one which counts in any quest as having been crafted. Sorry for the bad news but it's looking to be that way for the rest of the events as well.

Sun Spotters and Bonus Quests

Why for art thou timed now, bonus quests?

Bonus quests are now timed. Before, we had the full length of the event to be able to complete these tasks . Now it seems we are being saddled with a lengthy task and a timer to boot. It's best to work on these as much as you can if you'd like the bonus reward.

Sun Spotters have a time duration. Don't put one out unless you have all the maps(a total of 5) to fully tend them. If a Sun Spotter expires while you have it tended with only a few maps then the only way to continue with your progress is by using 1 crown.  Otherwise you will have to get a new one out and start again.

Twine can currently be traded between ships.
Maps can be currently traded between ships as well.
