Spoiler Guide: Giovanni's Great Machine - Chapter Two: Part 1 & 2
Hail Adventurers,
Under the watchful eye of the other heroes, Giovanni has begun creating a machine that will clear the rest of the Unstable Gloom. Meanwhile, the other Heroes discover that the Phoenix Perch has been corrupted. The Phoenix itself is aware of the Gloom sickness but points out that the only way to fully stop the Gloom is to defeat the Dark Wizard himself.
Author Note: This latest event should start rolling out on October 20th depending on time zone. This is also a spoiler guide with details. If you prefer a guide with no details there is a non-spoiler overview available. As always, please keep in mind that anything can change according to the CVL team's whimsy. Good luck all!
Giovanni's Great Machine Final Reward:
Our reward for finishing the entire event is a brown and white bunny that gives 4 eggs once fed with carrots. A 2x boost for the Weaver and 20 crowns will also be awarded.
Chapter Two:
Fire and Shadow: Part 1 of 4 -
Crafting 8 Fire Blossom Lanterns:
At the Woodshop -
Total:
40 Log - Get logs from trees or the lumber yard. Rafael can also bring back logs from exploration.
24 Fiery Pollen - Water the Fireblossoms to harvest this or if you have Sunspot(yellow baby dragon) he'll give you fiery pollen for 2 torches.
Crafting 4 Royal Gloves:
At the Weaver -
Total:
4 Plain Gloves - Made at the Tailor with 16 wool
4 Red Dye - bought or made at the Dye maker with volcanic peppers
4 Blue Dye - bought or made at the Dye maker with blueberries.
Send Meryl + Yvette to Phoenix Perch 4 times:
Total for 4 trips:
8 Ladders - made at Woodshop with 16 logs
20 Fiery Pollen - Water the Fireblossoms to harvest this or if you have Sunspot(yellow sometimes green baby dragon) he'll give you fiery pollen for 2 torches.
4 Plain Gloves - made at the Tailor with 16 wool
Note: Something to ponder is that in this part we are suppose to send off Meryl+Yvette to the Phoenix Perch 4 times. It may happen that you also acquire Phoenix feathers on those trips. So you could hold off on sending them until CH. 2 Fire and Shadow Part 4 of 4 to see how many feathers you will actually need to collect. And then you can get the rest from either tending the fireworks crates or trading with Alliance/Friends.

Crafting 5 True Blue Potions:
At the Alchemist -
Total:
5 Fairy Vials - Visit Bluebelle's house to get fairy vials.
10 Blueberries - Water the blueberry field to harvest
Crafting 8 Spellbound Bandages: :
At the Weaver -
Total:
8 Spellbound Orchids - Found at the Flower Tower or try Glurb
8 Plain bandages - made at the Weaver with 24 wool
Collecting 6 Muddy Waters:
If you waited to trade your Muddy Waters then this is the spot to begin the exchange with your Alliance/Friends. Trading back and forth here will also count for the CH.1 - The Great Machine Part 4 of 4 quest.
You can find Muddy Water by exploring at Rock Arch Oasis.
