Spoiler Guide: Giovanni's Great Machine - Chapter One: Part 3 & 4
Hail Adventurers,
Giovanni's Great Machine starts out stating that since Giovanni's mind may be muddled with the unstable Gloom it would be best to keep a close watch on him. Giovanni himself doesn't believe that he's been infected since his only goal is to help the kingdom, not destroy it. Under the watchful eye of the other heroes, Giovanni begins planning a machine that will clear the rest of the Gloom.

Giovanni's Great Machine Final Reward:
Our reward for finishing the entire event is a brown and white bunny that gives 4 eggs once fed with carrots. A 2x boost for the Weaver and 20 crowns will also be awarded.

Crafting 6 Floral Wax:
At the Flower Workshop -
Total:
12 Candle Wax - Water Beehives to get Candle Wax some of the time.
6 Wildflowers - These drop from the Wildflowers patch.
Collecting 8 Black Powder:
If buying/trading from Alliance/Global Market is not an option send off Heroes to the Rock Arch Oasis to explore for a chance at a Black Powder. Griffon's nest also has a chance for a Black Powder to drop but Rock Arch Oasis is more preferable.
Collecting 4 Stardust:
If buying/trading from Alliance/Global Market is not an option there are other alternatives to acquiring Stardust.
Well of Wishes - Send off Yvette and Bayoo together to explore here for a 100% stardust drop.
Fairy Falls - Send off Tanya plus any two Heroes of your choice.
Glurb - Cycling through his mini-quest can result in him offering Stardust,
Wheel of Wishes - If you happen to spin the wheel and it lands on a Stardust it will count toward your requirement. Remember that if you don't see the Stardust being offered you can close the Wheel, then click on it again. It'll randomize the rewards each time you open/close. Keep at it until you see a Stardust being offered then take a chance.

Collecting 6 new Muddy Waters:
All of the 'collect' items can be bought/traded with your Alliance/Friends. If you'd like you can wait until CH. 2 - Fire and Shadow 2 of 4 to start trading the Muddy Waters back and forth as it will also count for the CH.1 - The Great Machine 4 of 4 quest as well.
You can also find Muddy Water at Rock Arch Oasis.
Crafting 10 Brass Gears: :
At the Gadget Shoppe -
20 Brass Ingots - Harvest from Gio's home every 15 minutes(Don't forget Quick spells or trading) or you can send him off to explore Mount Cinder/Griffon's Roost for a chance that an ingot will drop.
Collecting 9 Iridescent Potions:
At the Alchemist -
Total:
18 Enchanted Nectar - Harvest the Butterfly Bush to collect.
9 Fairy Vials - Collect from Bluebelle's home which gives 5 Fairy vials.
9 Iridescent Scales - Fully tend Firework crates or Explore the Friendship Arena or Pirate Wreck, If you have bought Starfall the Night dragon he will find guaranteed Iridescent scales.
